Call for a Hosting University for the BRICS+ Universities Summit 2024

BRICS+ Universities Association is happy to announce the upcoming BRICS+ Universities Summit 2024, an important event that fosters collaboration, academic partnerships, and international student recruitment among institutions in the BRICS+ nations.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and visionary university to host this significant summit, which is scheduled to take place in New Delhi, India, during December 4-6, 2024. The summit aims to bring together distinguished leaders and professionals from the academic realm, including Rectors/Vice Rectors for International Affairs, Heads of International Offices, and Foreign Student Recruitment Managers.

• Number of attendees: 100-150

Attendees: The summit will gather professionals who play pivotal roles in shaping the internationalization strategies of their respective institutions. Attendees will include Rectors/Vice Rectors for International Affairs, Heads of International Offices, Foreign Student Recruitment Managers, and all other professionals with a keen interest in Academic Partnerships, University Cooperation, and International Students Recruitment.

Hosting University Responsibilities: The hosting university will be responsible for providing a conducive and welcoming environment for the summit, facilitating seamless logistics, and ensuring a memorable experience for all participants. This includes but is not limited to:

1. Conference Venue and Facilities: Arrange a suitable venue equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for presentations, workshops, and networking sessions.
2. Accommodation: Provide its guest house facilities or collaborate with local hotels to secure accommodation options for attendees, ensuring comfort and convenience.
3. Local Support: Provide on-the-ground support, including transportation arrangements, local guides, and assistance with visa processes if necessary.
4. Social and Cultural Program: Organize engaging social and cultural events that showcase the rich heritage of the host city and promote networking among participants.

Application Process: Interested universities are invited to submit their proposals by May 10. 2024. Proposals should include details on the hosting university's experience in organizing international events, the proposed venue, accommodation options, and a preliminary schedule of the summit.
