The State University of Maringá (UEM) is one of the most important Brazilian state universities. UEM is the 2nd best university in Paraná State (CWTS Leiden Ranking 2020) and the 96th top university in Latin America (QS Latin America University Rankings 2022). It is also home to ten researchers among the 50,000 world scientists (World Scientist and University Rankings 2023). We are interested in building bridges between international researchers to advance knowledge and improve local life conditions aiming at sustainable development, environmental preservation, and social equity.
