The agreement strengthens technical exchange, investments, and the development of strategic minerals for the energy transition, it also places a strong emphasis on cooperation in research, development, and specialized training within the mineral resources sector.

The agreement, signed by the ministers of mines and energy of both nations, specifically outlines cooperation through:
  • Knowledge exchange and the transfer of modern technologies in geology and mining
  • The implementation of training programs and capacity-building initiatives
  • Partnerships in Research, Development, and Innovation

The agreement consolidates the partnership between Brazil and Saudi Arabia and broadens the scope of bilateral cooperation in strategic areas for sustainable development, mineral security, and the energy transition.

A highlighted initiative is the planned creation of a Brazil-Saudi Arabia Mining Investment Alliance, which aims to foster joint efforts in exploration, processing, and adding value to strategic minerals.
