Call for Volunteers: Represent BRICS+ Universities Association (BUA) in Communications with Ministry of Higher Education and other Governmental Education Bodies
The position is open for the candidate, who is engaged with the university as a Rector/Vice-rector/Head of the International Affairs Department/International Office/Institute/Center (BRICS+ countries and beyond).
Are you passionate about international education and diplomacy? Do you have a talent for building connections and advocating for meaningful causes? The BRICS+ Universities Association (BUA) is seeking dedicated volunteers to represent our organization in communication with the Ministry of Education and other Governmental Education Bodies.
About BUA: The BRICS+ Universities Association is a collaborative network that brings together universities from the BRICS+ countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Saudia Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Iran and Ethiopia) and other emerging economies. Our mission is to foster academic cooperation, research collaboration, and cultural exchange among member institutions.
Volunteer Role: As a BUA volunteer representative, you will play a critical role in establishing and maintaining connections with the Ministry of Higher Education and other Governmental Education Bodies in your country. You will represent BUA's interests, promote our initiatives, and work to strengthen partnerships that align with our mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain relationships with the Ministry of Higher Education and other Governmental Education Bodies.
Advocate for BUA's goals, ensuring our interests are represented in discussions and negotiations.
Communicate BUA's vision, initiatives, and benefits to stakeholders.
Provide feedback to BUA leadership on stakeholder needs and potential collaboration opportunities.
Attend meetings, events, and forums as a BUA representative.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in education, diplomacy, or related fields.
A passion for international cooperation and academic collaboration.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to attend meetings and events as needed and spare time to fulfil BUA's tasks.
The candidate must be engaged with local university as a Rector/Vice-rector/Head of the International Affairs Department/International Office/Institute/Center.
