Man. Environment. Architecture is the 2nd International Professional Forum on National Traditions in Architecture This year's edition addresses the timely topic of "Russian Traditions in New Architecture", and features a special section on "Indian Architectural Traditions and Vastu Principles: Their Philosophical and Practical Significance for Global Contemporary Design".
About the Forum The forum serves as an annual platform for discussions and the exchange of experience among practicing architects, researchers, and future professionals. We explore how the heritage and principles of traditional architecture find their embodiment in contemporary projects and technologies.

Participants: Architects, urban planners, researchers, educators, and students of architectural universities.
Terms for Speakers 1. The presentation topic must align with the forum's general theme: the comprehension, interpretation, and reflection of traditional architecture in contemporary practice. Proposals for the special section on Indian architecture and Vastu are warmly welcomed. 2. Format: A presentation for 40 minutes. 3. Languages: Russian or English. 4. In-person attendance: An optional opportunity for in-person attendance in Yekaterinburg is available. However, please note that the organizers (as a non-profit organization and a university) are unable to cover travel and accommodation expenses. In such cases, participation will be at the participant's own cost.
How to Participate? To have your presentation included in the forum program, please submit an abstract or a brief description (500-800 words) for review by the program committee no later than February 15, 2026.
