Call for Speakers and Attendees for the Round Table on Pediatrics and Neonatology (Economic Congress of the VI International Municipal BRICS Forum)

BRICS+ Universities Association is glad to invite the experts in Pediatrics, Neonatology and the representatives of healthcare organizations from BRICS+ countries to participate in the event and discuss international collaboration in medicine, science and education.

Theme of the Pediatrics Round Table: Key up-to-date focuses of cooperation between the BRICS+ countries on the issue of children's health. Speakership opportunities are available upon request (please contact the responsible officer for more details, contacts are available at the bottom of this page). There are 2 options of participation for both speakers and attendees: physical attendance and online participation.

The Economic Congress of the VI International Municipal BRICS Forum will take place on November 21–22, 2024 in St. Petersburg, Russia. The theme of the Economic Congress of the VI IMBRICS Forum (Fall Session): "Public Health Safety". Information about the Congress is available at www.imbricsspb.com. 1. The main problems of reducing infant mortality.
2. The main problems of reducing child mortality.
3. Children's healthcare from the earliest stages of life, programming healthy longevity from birth.
4. Key issues of reproductive health, maternal health.
5. Organization of pediatric care in large regions.
6. Opportunities for comparing and consolidating the experience of the BRICS countries, replicating best practices in the field of healthcare, science and education on the issue of children's health.
7. The main current focuses and forms of the BRICS countries cooperation in the transfer and consolidation of best practices in training highly qualified personnel in medicine, pediatrics, and neonatology.

The objectives of the business program block "Public Health Safety":

• exchange of experience and best practices in the field of healthcare;
• discussion of the latest trends, technologies and developments in the field of medicine, medical education, medical tourism and other related topics;
• presentation of modern models of practical application of solutions to particularly pressing problems in the field of health protection.
